The Website is Back! Plus a New Addition to the Blog

You may have notices that Everyday Cooking Adventures’ website has been down for the past month and/or that you haven’t received any new recipes from me for awhile. Well, due to a tragic issue with my blog host company the entire blog was lost. It took the amazing work of two programmers, Jessica B. and Mike F., that I owe at least the naming of my next pet after, to rescue, rebuild, and bring back my blog like new again.

After a week of slight depression mourning what I thought was the loss of the past 4 years of recording my recipes, cooking memories, and photos of it all, I pulled myself together and got back in the kitchen. Even without an audience or a place to share my musings on food, my love for cooking didn’t wane. In fact, I have a plethora of recipes to catch you up on and I’ll start this week with two new Barefoot Contessa recipes that I made for my family and we all loved.

Recommended Food Books

So I look forward to sharing with you new recipes that I hope you will make and enjoy too. Thank you for sticking with me during a month of blackout! And I was inspired to start a whole new page on my blog: Everyday Cooking Adventures’ Recommended Books about Food that range from classic Julia Child memoirs to books about food history in the middle east. Enjoy!
